Email Listener unable to restart

Hi All,

was trying to understand how the pega Email bot works on my personal time. But email listener I’m unable to start not sure how can i start the email listener.

When i have removed the authentication, i was able to restart but with the basic authentication I’m unable to start. Below is the error.

Please let me know if anything else I’m forgetting to configure.

Not sure which basic authentication you are referring to here. To make the email channel work, please ensure :

  1. You have a working email account that you refer in the email listener

  2. Verify if the test connectivity is working from the Data-EmailAccount instance

  3. Then if the listener verification is not working from the email channel landing page, try to bring the listener up using the Admin studio. It sometimes doesn’t get verified from the Email channel however it works fine if is visible from Admin Studio.

Have a working email account and upon the test connectivity everything is success for the email account.

I’m trying to bring up the listener from ADMIN Studio, that is where i’m having the issue. What i did is for the listener for which i’m trying to bring up, for the that listener we have service package right, if i remove the authentication for the package and they try to bring up the listener working fine. But not sure if the basic authentication is present for the package, i’m getting the above error.

Able to restart the Listener.

  1. If we want to use with basic authentication, we have to configure the Operator ID and Password.

  2. if No authentication, Requester login is not required
