Pega Listeners showing as disabled how can i enable it

The email listener are in disable state, when i am trying to restart getting error (Start operation failed for Myaccountadministration (Failed to launch listener, com.pega.pegarules.pub.PRException: Failed to start listener: EMAIL.) and it’s still in disable state. Can anyone please help me on this

On listener configuration(section Listener nodes) for the email listener, what node you have selected, is that node available now?
Try selecting run on all nodes and enable.

Also share logs if any.

Please check the email account connection is good.

If the email account which email listener is watching in that connection state was not successful then listener will not run..

Please check in email listener below configurations are valid.

  • Please check the node classifications in email listener rule and make sure valid node type has been selected.
  • Please check the Requester Login field in email listener whether a valid user-id and password has been provideded and the same operator id was not disabled inside system

listener working now, I have changed requestor login details from history and why those details are automatically changing without our interruption any idea?

None of the information in listener rule will get updated automatically.

Somehow information in listener rule (or) in operator profile should have updated manually.. That’s why you are not able to turn-on listener…
