Pega certifications never expire - they are always valid.
However, we encourage everyone to keep their skills current by completing the latest versions of the equivalent missions. For example, if you are System Architect 7.2 certified, you should upgrade your equivalency by completing the latest System Architect mission - preferably the 8.8 version, but 8.7 would be acceptable.
To be clear, this will not change the certification version, but you will be reported to your organization as being equivalent on the latest version.

@eddie.jmI just saw your answer. Thank you and I have a question. I completed PCSSA 8.6 now I need to upgrade it to new version. So for that do I need to register for the same CSSA certification exam again and crack the exam? To get upgraded in both knowledge and certification aspect?
