Can I still take and pass Pega System Architect v8.7 exam?

I recently completed business architect certification v8.7 and my plan was to now move on to preparing and passing system architect mission and certification program. I noticed today that there is a new version of mission and certification available - v8.8

My question is, can I still take version v8.7 training and exam? My company is on this version and also I don’t want to repeat Low Code App Builder and Low code App Builder Extended missions which are 24h. If it’s possible to still take 8.7 certification exam, how much longer will it be available? I need to asses if I will be able to prepare for it in time. The last thing I would like to happen is that I will be almost done with 8.7 training and suddenly the exam for 8.7 will disappear.

Hi @TomaszR16719136: Only information available now is on the expiry of v8.6 (expired Dec 2022) ref: https://home.pearsonvue.com/pegasystems. There is no info on the expiry of v8.7. You can still prepare for version 8.7 if you are planning to take the exam in near future.

It is good to start the training and learning in v8.8 and to take exam in 8.8.
