Pega V8.8 certification

Hi,

I have a goal to do the CPBA (Pega Business Architect) certification at the earliest possible. But now I am confused to whether take v8.7 or v8.8 course.

Can Pega Academy side please help me with which version I will have to go with my CPBA preparation because I see in the Pega Academy page that the latest version of Pega is V8.8 but in the certification portal of Pega, the latest version exam available is v8.7. Will V8.8 version of the certification exam soon be released?

Or can I study from CPBA V8.8 on Academy and still be able to clear V8.7 CPBA exam.

Apologies for a lot of questions in a single post but this has been bothering since a month.

We recommend matching the version of the mission to the version of the certification exam. If your goal is to achieve the Certified Pega Business Architect at the earliest, it seems best to pursue the 8.7 version.

@eddie.jm Hi Eddie, Thanks for the quick response. To be specific I am looking to target for coming January month to do certification in CPBA.

When can we expect Certification Exam with V8.8?

@kkphanivarma I would suggest that you complete the 8.7 course and plan for 8.7 exam, even if you are planning to do this in Jan. You can always do 8.8 training to get conceptual understanding of the changes. Its recommended to match the training and exam version.
