Pega Upgrade 8.8.2 infinity 24

We have a google cloud platform having pega version 8.8.2, UI kit 15.01 and SI framework version 8.

We have a plan to upgrade it to pega infinity 24, can you please clarify the below questions-

  1. Can we upgrade the platform only, with UI kit

  2. Do we need to upgrade the SI framework also or it will support the existing one

Here are some answers to your questions:

  1. No you can’t upgrade directly to Infinity’24 with UI Kit as its only based on Constellation. That’s my idea but you can consult with your account manager for more details.

  2. Ideally old frameworks on new version platforms, but Pega has released version 24.1 for SI too and they would recommend you to upgrade that too.

Hi @GarimaM0 - You need to upgrade both Pega Platform v24.1.x and Pega Smart Investigate for Payments 24.1
