Upgrade from v876 to PegaInfinity24

Hi Pega,

We are planning to upgrade our Pega application from v8.7.6 to Pega Infinity 24. Could you please clarify/provide the below:

  1. Could you please share the required documentation for the upgrade.
  2. Could you please confirm, we can jump from v8.7.6 to PegaInfinity24 directly, provided the required systems are in place. This will help in estimation and planning the release.
  3. Could you please confirm/provide the supported Framework versions - CRM and CRMi, PegaCall.

Our application is moving to AKS with postgres sql - environments setup are being built.

Hi Kedar can i know what documents are you expecting for this do you need upgrade documentation then i can provide the links to go thru also you can check the pega git hub repos to get all the information about the aks and eks based containarised applications upgrade

@BhanuPrasanthT Hi, thanks for the github link… am looking for compatible CRM, CRMi, PegaCall frameworks with PegaInfinity24… am aware, all these come with the bundle that we download.

Any documentation to avoid common mistakes.
Do we have to do a intermediate move to PegaInfinity23 and then to PegaInfinity24? or can we jump from v8.7.6 to PI24?

there is no need for you to move to 23 and then to 24.

you can directly move from 8.7.6 to 24.

Btw Common mistakes is ones individual documentation and i dont think some one will share or update in this forum.

Hi Prasanth i have a workflow made in pega 8.3 and i want to migrate it to pega 24 so is it possible??..and if yes how can i do it?

One more question:

We are moving from DB2 11 to Postgre SQL in AKS (Cloud). since Pega v8.7.6 doesnt support PG L14, what approach we should be go with?

Should we do a v8.7.6 with PG L13 in AKS and then do the direct upgrade to PI24 with PG L14 directly in AKS, - is this simple or do we have any other approach…?

The Target version in Prod is PegaInfinity24, PG L14 in AKS.
