Pega Robot Runtime encounters an error when launching it

Hi,

I just installed the Pega Robot Runtime 22.1 in a Prod Server. However, when I launch it, I encountered a fatal error. Please see attached screenshot.

Need your help as we are about to deploy the automation in production anytime soon.

@LizetteL

The error message in the screenshot suggests that there is a problem with the .NET Framework installation on the server where you installed the Robot Runtime.

To resolve this issue, you can try the following steps:

  1. Verify that the .NET Framework is installed correctly on the server. You can check this by opening the Windows Control Panel, navigating to Programs and Features, and checking if the .NET Framework is listed. If it is not listed, you may need to install it manually.

  2. If the .NET Framework is installed, try repairing the installation by running the .NET Framework Repair Tool. You can download the tool from the Microsoft website and follow the instructions to repair the .NET Framework installation.

  3. If repairing the .NET Framework installation does not resolve the issue, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the Robot Runtime. Before reinstalling, make sure to uninstall the existing installation completely, and then reboot the server before installing the new version.

  4. If the issue persists after trying the above steps, I recommend contacting Pega Support for further assistance. They can help you diagnose and resolve the issue and ensure that your automation can be deployed to production successfully.

I hope this helps, and please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
