When logging into Pega application it is automatically opening Admin Studio, how can I default to Dev Studio landing page? Any help would be much appreciated.

When you switch to Dev Studio and Logoff. Is it not working? Are you not logged back in on Dev Studio?

Yes, after switching to Dev Studio and Log-off it is not working. Again opening Admin studio.
You should make the DevStudio as the primary portal in the access group your operator is mapped to.
