Is Infinity "24" Major or Minor?

Hello,

Once I have posted a question in https://support.pega.com/question/question-about-new-name-pega-version? and I figured Infinity “23” is equivalent with Minor version. As a matter of fact, Ruleset wise, “23” is in 08-23-XX. Now, I have found below screenshot in Pega system info. This clearly states “23” is Major version.

I am now confused. Is “23” Major or Minor? If this is still Minor, will Pega create Major concept on top of this year concept sometime in the future? When someone call something “Minor”, “Major” concept should exist. What are the given “names” in the higher level for Pega products in Infinity.

To answer your question, Infinity 24 will be the minor version. For more details you can go through the release notes: Pegasystems Documentation

Its a minor Upgrade You can check the DataPage :D_pzSystemInformation and if you open and PegaRuleset it will show as 08-23-01 for 23 release.
