How to host web chatbot (Digital Messaging) on Pega user portal in 8.8 v

Hi All,

I have an requirement to create a chatbot and host it on end user portal for there help while working on the case.

i have created a Digital Messaging chatbotbot in Pega 8.8 version. Tried it with including App factory Jar but that doesn’t helps as it Connect-Rest pyBASendJson fails .

Hello @KUMARABHINAV, do you have a set of credentials to enable Digital Messaging Service? If not yet, could you please reach out to your Pega Sales/Account team in order to discuss qualification?

Could you please elaborate more on “credentials to enable Digital Messaging Service”? where exactly these needs to be configured once Digital Messaging Interface (Chatbot) is created?

Hi @Krishna_Das, these are installed in your application definition, Security tab. You will see a section to specify a Digital Messaging Manager ID and Key - more on this is available here: Pegasystems Documentation

There are qualification requirements to enable the service and we recommend contacting your Pega Sales/Account team to begin that process.

The credentials need to be installed before a Digital Messaging channel interface is added. This will establish the connection with the service and allow you to connect on webchat (Web Messaging) and other supported platforms (Mobile Messaging SDK, Facebook etc.)
