Can we create Chatbot in Pega v 8.8 without using Digital Messaging service ?

We have a requirement to create simple Chatbot to help CSR, we will be making this Chatbot available on user portal and not looking to make it available for any other digital platform (ex: Social media, mobile etc. )

Is there any option to create Chatbot without digital messaging service, to avoid additional rest call to the Pega cloud to access digital services?

We are on pega platform v8.8

Please try the legacy chatbot in the channels and interfaces for your requirement.

Hi @P.Siva.Praveen legacy chatbot option is no longer available in the channels for Pega v8.8, is there any way to use it in v8.8?

@Krishna_Das , @P.Siva.Praveen, Legacy Chatbot has been deprecated since 8.6 and completely desupported since 8.7. It has been replaced with Digital Messaging.
