Pega Chatbot query

Hi All-Looking for some information related to Pega Chatbot.

One can create chatbot using digital messaging channel and not using CS fw.

Can it be used from mobile also ?

What are the drawbacks if one don’t use CS fw and use chatbot using digital messaging channel ?

I think if you do not use CS framework, then after creating the digital messaging in the Channel tab you wont be able to see the Manage Connections option where you can connect with 3rd-party applications like WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger etc.

@SohamM95 - thank you for your reply. That is exactly we have seen, without CS fw we won’t be able to see manage connection and won’t be able to embed the chatbot in web page.

Customer Service offers to transfer the chat to a Live agent for any escalations or if the chatbot cannot recognize the user questions.
