I am trying to integrate Pega Digital messaging services with External API’s (ex. chatbot or other integrations which will give me similar results like chatbot).
One option is to create a case type and provide the command option and define all the integration at flow level.
But i want to understand what is the use of the connection tab at digital messaging. Could you please help if we can provide the API of the external systems what is the outcome and help me to understand the usage of below fiels in which scenario we should go with these fields configuration.
Hello @SonuR675 , to add to SohamM95’s note, we can provision the credentials required for you to enable the Digital Messaging channel, where you can add an OOTB webchat connection using Web Messaging, and/or integrate with the Client Channel API to connect other channels like Teams or Webex.
Please reach out to your Pega Account Team so we can start the qualification process for enabling the service on your applications.
The URL fields you highlighted in your screenshot all relate to the Digital Messaging Service, and will not allow you to create other external integrations.
