Can we use chatbot feature using Pega Vanilla?

In Pega Platform(without CS framework), we can see the option of adding Digital Messaging(using channels). However, even after configuring Digital Messaging security, we don’t see “Add connection” option.

Also, the preview console displays the chatbot however I don’t see a mechanism to use it.

Does Pega vanilla supports IVA?

@MarijeSchillern Only difference I see is that I have used the Digital Messaging Key of another application after removing details from that application. Does Pega internally bind application detail with the Manager ID and Manager Key?

  • Obtain the security settings for your Digital Messaging channel, including the Manager ID and the Manager Key values for Digital Messaging Manager, by contacting Pega Support. For more information, go to Pega Support.
  • Ensure that you request a separate set of credentials for each environment that you maintain.
  • If your Pega Platform is installed on premises or has internal access only, perform additional configuration for your environment so that your system can communicate with Digital Messaging Service. For more information, see
