How to hide the follow action

How can I hide this menu item?

This has been raised to our Pega Documentation team, so this Constellation 101 should only be temporary whilst we get this added to our official Platform Docs.

However, wanted to make this available and searchable now

This works for Work portal perfectly.

But for Self service portal, even though we extend this when rule and make it true, it still shows up the Follow action.

Not sure if this is already taken as a feedback item engineering team to look into..

Yes, this is a bug (BUG-977517). I see its targeted for 25.1.3 to fix.

I believe the issue, is because we introduced two new features in ‘25

• simplified case view for self-service portals at the same time as
• introducing this new when rule (no documentation).

Though have no intimate knowledge of the engineering, you can see how this situation may have arisen.
