File '{Path}\AppData\Roaming\Pegasystems \OpenSpanRuntimeServer.xml' does not exist.

I am keep on getting below error screenshot in PEGA Runtime. I verified the RuntimeLog.. I got the message as File ‘{Path}\AppData\Roaming\Pegasystems\OpenSpanRuntimeServer.xml’ does not exist. And also I am not able to get the Menu option by right clicking on the Pega Robot Runtime.

@RoselinH The message you posted indicates that Runtime is already started. If it is, you would normally be able to exit through the tray icon, however you seem to have that disabled somehow. You might use Task Manager then to end the process tree for OpenSpan.Runtime.exe before you launch it to ensure it is closed.

As for your other issues;

  • "OpenSpanRuntimeServer.xml’ does not exist - I believe this is benign and nothing to worry about and not relevant to this message.
  • I suspect that your tray icon is locked or the process is otherwise frozen or suspended maybe. You might try restarting your machine to see if that resolves your tray icon issue. If not, we might need to take a look with you via our support team as this is behavior I haven’t experienced before.
