What’s new in User Experience '26: Real-Time Application UI Editing in Preview Mode
Infinity 26 introduces the UI Designer, a powerful set of controls available directly within Preview mode that enables solution builders to edit application content and appearance in real time.
Building on the intuitive design experience introduced in Pega Blueprint™, the UI Designer provides a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editing experience, allowing teams to visually refine their applications without leaving Preview mode. Using familiar interactions such as add, delete, drag, and drop, solution builders can quickly prototype, validate, and iterate on UI changes before publishing them.
When previewing an application, selecting UI Designer from the top menu opens the designer pane on the left side of the screen.
How It Works
The UI Designer organizes application customization into three primary areas:
AI Assistant
Leverage Pega’s natural language AI interface to describe the changes you want to make to your application. Through a conversational experience, the AI Assistant helps translate your requirements into application updates, accelerating design and configuration activities.
Design
Control the overall look and feel of the application by configuring:
