Hi,
A couple of things I feel would add a lot of value to blueprint below:
- Ability to change the layout of views in the app preview
- Ability to add visibility conditions on fields in collect information steps
Hi,
A couple of things I feel would add a lot of value to blueprint below:
Hi Oliver, just wanted to check if you knew about one of the recent features that allows you to manage the views on each assignment step that is then leveraged within the Preview?
You can add new fields or include them from an existing data model on the “Case Data Model” tab
Once it is on the case data model you can then use it in any assignment (Collect Information) step.
Once it is added it will appear on the preview screen when you create that case
Using this approach you can create a basic UI for each of the assignments and demo this end to end through preview with your business users.
Hope this helps, but let me know if its not quite what you wanted.
Many Thanks
Brad
Thank you for your thoughtful suggestions. Brad raised some excellent points, and I’ve also reviewed this feedback with the Pega Blueprint Product team.
At this stage, our focus for Blueprint is to help users define and structure application requirements, rather than investing time in UI customization. As such, we don’t currently plan to support layout changes in the app preview, as that would shift us away from our center-out design philosophy.
Regarding visibility conditions on fields in the “Collect Information” steps, we are actively exploring ways to introduce more advanced configuration options in Blueprint—such as routing, SLAs, and validations. While visibility conditions haven’t been discussed yet, we’ve added this to our backlog of potential enhancements for a more advanced version of Blueprint.
Please keep the feedback coming—it’s incredibly valuable as we continue to evolve the product.
