Updating Pega Platform from 8.8.5 to '24.2.1

Hi,

We will soon be updating to Pega Platform ‘24.2.1’.
In the current application (Pega Platform 8.8), “Theme-Cosmos 04.01” is set as the source application in the application definition.

We are wondering if it is necessary to change the specification (version number, etc.) of the source application in the above application definition after upgrading the Platform version.

I would like to know if this needs to be changed and, if so, what should be changed. Please let me know if you have any documents that would be helpful.

As far as I know, Theme-Cosmos 05.01 is the most updated version and you should be able to see it available in the application definition. Although you can still keep on using 04.01 if it suffices your requirements.
