Migrating an UIKit applicaiton to Cosmos in v8.3.4

We have an application running on Production implemented on Pega v8.3.4 with UIKit. We are planning to convert this to Cosmos Rules Theme soon. Is it recommended to use Cosmos in Production for an application running on v8.3?

As per the notes available in the below URL it is not robust enough for Prod application running on v8.3

Can somebody confirm?

Thanks in advance

If you are planning to upgrade to Cosmos Rules, you should also upgrade to the latest Pega Platform release (e.g. 8.5) and use Cosmos Rules 2.0

There has been a lot of improvements and fixes done in Cosmos Rules 1.0 shipped in 8.4 compared to 8.3. Having said that some applications were live with Cosmos Rules on 8.3, but in your case, moving to Cosmos Rules is a development effort anyway and as such it is the right time to upgrade to the latest platform release version

Thank you Richard, it helps a lot to clear the path.
