unable to view data designer screen

Am unable to view the data designer in PEGA personal edition 8.7.0 can anyone please suggest if I have configure anything in order to view the data designer.

while creating a case type the data model screen stays blank forever.

Since am new to PEGA and currently learning am unaware if i have to configure anything in order to view the data designer page.
