Unable to see Casetype ( Parent and Child) and their respective Flows and Views

Hi All,

While I was doing Hands-on practice on CASE SPECIALIZATION I saved the Casetype but after saving it, It removed the casetype as well as flow and views. Now to resolve this issue I’ve gone through multiple post but It’s not getting resolved. I’ve checked the pyDefault Casetype as well but It’s showing error for Parent Casetype. I’ve also checked the class in which I’m creating both Parent and Child Casetype and it is still present. I’ve also checked the checkboxes of casetypes in Cases & Data tab and saved it. But still workflow as well as Casetype is not visible. And when I’m trying to open my Casetype from Recents it’s showing Ruleset as locked.

this issue is happening because the case type is opening in a locked ruleset, so Pega cannot save or load the parent case type structure correctly. Unlock the ruleset version where the parent case type is stored, and make sure that same unlocked ruleset is available in your application stack. Then open the parent case type again and save it once from Case Designer. After that, refresh Dev Studio or reopen the application so Pega rebuilds the case type metadata. Once the parent case type is saved in the unlocked ruleset, the child case types, flows, and views should show correctly again.
