lost my work in Community Edition

Saved my work last Friday for my application: sohela workflow. Today, I tried to return to it but my work is gone. the case type is back to the starting point. All the stages and steps I had added are gone.

I exported to a zip file my work last Friday so I tried to import it. The import looks like it worked, but there still are no stages or steps.

Will you please help?

It sounds like your work on the case type in Pega was not saved properly. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and recover your work:

  1. Check if the case type was deleted: It is possible that the case type was accidentally deleted or removed. Check your application’s history to see if this is the case.

  2. Check if the case type version was changed: If someone else made changes to the case type, it may have caused your work to be lost. Check the case type version history to see if any changes were made.

  3. Check if the case type was checked out: If you checked out the case type and did not check it back in, your changes may not have been saved. Check to see if the case type is still checked out to you.

  4. Check the import log: When you imported the zip file, did you check the import log to see if there were any errors or warnings? If there were errors, you may need to address them before the import can be completed successfully.

  5. Try importing again: If the import log did not show any errors, try importing the zip file again. Make sure to select the correct version of the application and case type.

  6. Contact Pega support: If none of the above steps work, you may need to contact Pega support for further assistance. They can help you troubleshoot and recover your work.

In the future, it is recommended that you save your work frequently and check it in to avoid losing any changes. You can also use Pega’s “undo” feature to undo any unwanted changes.
