The application name is garbled.

Hi All,
I set the application name in Japanese, but the characters are garbled when the preview is displayed.

The operator icon is also garbled.

The operator’s “Default Locale” is “ja_JP” and the time zone is “Asia / Tokyo”.

I’m using Cosmos React.

Other than that, the characters are not garbled.

Does anybody have a solution for this?

Any help will be appreciated.

p.s.

This issue is due to a bug and will be resolved in version 8.7.4, so I close it. Thank you.

@YutaS883 if you do not receive a response here on the forum could I suggest that you log a support incident for this on the MSP?

Please could you provide the INC number here so that we can help track progress?

@MarijeSchillern

Thank you for your reply.
I filled in INC-235610.

Thanks @YutaS883 I can see that it is awaiting triage.

Likely the first checks our support will do is make sure that you followed the Internationalization and localization guidelines of not enabling UTF-16 after you installed a UTF-8 system.

Feel free to keep this forum thread up-to-date and let us know if you need any further help.

@YutaS883
