Our Application needs temporary case creation for certain casetypes, we see that is deprecated in recent versions of pega yet it can be configured.
We would like to understand if this is still supported in Pega Infinity version or the temporary case feature will be disabled completely?
As far as I know, this feature is no longer available in Infinity 23 versions. I believe the recommendation is always to create a case and change it to Withdrawn or Cancelled status if the case is no longer required.
@sumabhanul To avoid the temporary case creation but achieve the similar objective is to use the purge/archival of cases based on the required criteria/case status.
Pega stopped rolling out this feature. It is not recommended to use it anymore. Instead you can use Pega’s recommended Data Instance First design approach. You can get more info on it in the following link:
