After restarting the JVM, we are seeing JOINING_FAILED status for Stream nodes. We have only one node acting as stream node too.
Error- Runtime exception: Cannot run program “/java/jdk/jre/bin/java” in directory /public/kafka/bin
error-13, Permission denied.
What should i do to fix it?
Is the issue still persist? Removing the Kafka data from Stream node and restarting the node would resolve the issue.
@KishoreSanagapalli Yes that’s correct. Although the error is a bit deceiving. We truncated few tables and cleared the kafka-data folder and node status got back to NORMAL. Thanks
