Primary Associated Data in Secondary Contexts

Hi Team,

We have a context dictionary set up as per the following Customer > Account relationship

The customer entity has a Consent Entity as associated data.

When we do an inbound container call when the Context = Account, we are finding that the Consent data is not accessible to the action.

Is this expected?

Hi @AndrewW40, Yes it is expected. When the context is set as Account in the request payload, the logic will load all the Account related information along with its associated data and load only its parent information without any associated data.

Thanks for the clarification @RaghuShankhawaram. Would this then indicate that best practice for xCar data model is to not have associated data off the primary context or atleast all data that might be relevant to account context decision?
