We want to better understand the limitation of the Persona profile in Pega. If we create a Persona based on an existing customer C1 and we then migrate the persona profile P1 to a higher environment. Is it a prerequisite to have the based customer C1 in the higher environment first before migrating the Persona P1? Is it possible to migrate the Persona by itself without the customer profile C1.
@mickaely When a persona is created from a customer record, a snapshot of the customer information is retained within the persona. These details are encapsulated within the persona rule and do not rely on the original contact record being present in the environment. However, in the event that the contact record is not available within the environment, it will not be possible to synchronize the persona back using the “Sync customer details” feature with the contact information.
@mickaely I couldnt fully understand your question. If you are asking if Persona’s are data transforms then they are a specialised Data transforms and you will need to use the Persona UI to access the data it contains.
