A few people reached out and asked whether I can share a view of how Pega GenAI features map to our current UI architecture and platform versions. So here you go…
The image compares Infinity '24 and Infinity '25 across Constellation UI and Traditional UI (UI-Kit and Theme Cosmos). It highlights where features are fully supported, partially supported, or not available. The notes on the right call out some of the exceptions that matter in real projects.
A few things to note. Constellation continues to be our primary path for new GenAI capabilities. Infinity '25 expands coverage, including our new Application Agent and Agent Steps. As you can see Traditional UI remains supported for many cases, with clear limits that are explicitly called out.
This is working guidance today. We plan to make it more formal by adding this content to docs.pega.com so teams have a single, trusted reference.
Hope you find this useful as a planning aid when you design GenAI use cases, select UI patterns, or discuss upgrade paths with clients and partners.
Apologies for the delayed reply. The product team is currently heads down preparing for the Infinity 26 release and Pegaworld, and there are upcoming announcements that directly affect this topic.
The short answer is yes. On‑prem clients will be able to use Pega GenAI services without needing PremBridge. Behind that simple answer is of course a lot of nuance as it all depends on which version you are on, whether you will be running your own AI gateway, your own models, etc.
So the more nuanced answer at the moment is that from Infinity 26 our on-prem customers will be able to make use of our various (licensed) GenAI Services without needing PremBridge. This capability will also be backported to Infinity 25.1.2.
How this is achieved and the the final setup will depend on how our clients choose to run GenAI. Some clients will rely on Pega to manage the AI gateway and model access, which mirrors today’s Pega Cloud model. Others will choose to run their own AI gateway and connect their own LLMs for more control. More concrete detail will be shared closer to the Infinity 26 release.
Hope this helps and watch this space! The Infinity 26 release is going to be a game changer!
Hi Philip! Great to read this. I know Infinity 26 is yet to be released, but do we already have a solution diagram or configuration details on how this would work? (on-prem customers will be able to make use of our various (licensed) GenAI Services without needing PremBridge) Thanks!
