We are upgrading from pega 7.3 to pega 8.6 version.
This upgrade took us 3 months because of some issues we faced.
If we develop some code in 7.3 version in this span, can we export the product from 7.3 version and can we import the same in 8.6?
If not, is there any way where we can import the changes in new 8.6 environment
It depends on what code you are referring to. We would always recommend to execute export / import after migrating to the source to the same version media as the target.
There have been API and schema changes, some rules have been disabled, and a simple application import cannot make those changes.
