AI in Maps is still very unexplored area in AI world. but in future a service request to AI Maps will be there to do some thing beyond location capture. Pega needs to explore some business use cases to think beyond navigation/coordinate capture for the case worker or manager. it will be service call but how case worker/ Manager will use this functionality? he/she can type same request in browser or app as well. what can be done extra from pega for AI maps is the question ? May be capturing conversation for future reference and audit can give more information about decision at that time. Its still a unknown territory in application world ( BPM )
Google Maps has introduced conversational AI in 2026 which also helps Pega agents to talk with them and update the right meta information to make Pega bots more intelligent. IT clients can directly interact with Pega Maps AI bots for better context information with case data and business objective. instead of hitting general google maps pega Maps AI bot should be interacted for better answers by end users.
