What is Pega’s support model for the 19.1 series going forward:
1: When will Pega stop creating new 19.1 runtimes
2: How long will Pega continue to support incidents for robots created on 19.1 rutimes
Thank you

@RichardB3397The only new 19.1 releases happening from here on out are for customer issues and security fixes. As a general rule, customer issues will no longer be considered once the version enters extended support (when the next major version is released).
Hi Thomas
thanks for the update
Does extended support have a set duration once intitiated?
And once the extended support period expires what does that mean in practice for robots which still run on the 19.1 runtimes
Regards
Richard Bien
@RichardB3397Extended support means that we would only release security-related critical updates. After that period (would be 90 days), no further updates would be released. If you were still running 19.1 at that time and had an issue that required a fix, it would no longer be possible to provide it, and you’d need to update to at least 22.1 to receive support for that issue. Your bots would continue to run as they do today until something changed in your environment.
Hi Thomas
The latest 19.1 release was Build 19.1.143.0 — August 26, 2024
If I understand you correctly is this the last 19.1 version which is being released?
And therefore if it is, are no more 19.1 versions being released and therefore the extended warranty period has now started which will expire approx End Nov 2024 which would apply to all 19.1 runtimes?
This would give us till end Nov to upgrade our robots/runtimes to stay supported
If the above is incorrect I must be confused what we mean by major/minor versions so please correct me
Thank you
Rich Bien
@RichardB3397 We have not changed anything about 19.1 releases. Once the next version of Pega Robotics is released, then 19.1 will be on extended support and the clock will start. For now, we are still resolving customer issues and security issues for 19.1. I suggest you begin the upgrade process at your earliest convenience however, as you do not want to get caught off-guard.
