Pega rototics automation 19.1 Product Support Period

I have a question about the Pega rototics automation 19.1 product support period.

This version is going to be in the extended support period in November 2024. When was the announcement made?

@ReiA7543The announcement will be made when version 19.1 goes into extended support. As the article says, we expect that to happen in November of this year.

"Expected to enter the Extended support period in November of 2024. All support for version 19.1 will end 90 days after the Extended support period starts. "

@MichaelNorton

I would like to know when the following information was announced.

"Expected to enter the Extended support period in November of 2024. All support for version 19.1 will end 90 days after the Extended support period starts. "

Also, after the Extend Support Priod ends, will I not be able to make any inquiries to the support center about the 19.1 version?

@ReiA7543

The extended support policies article for 22.1 was created and published with the release of 22.1 in September of 2022. The article has been updated a couple of times to reflect our best guess of when 19.1 will enter extended support, each time to push the expected date back further. It was updated very recently to January of 2025. We have also included reminders that 19.1 will enter Extended Support in Customer ADvisory (CADs), such as the CADs about the MV2/MV3 changes that were emailed in April of this year.

We will email another CAD when we officially announce that version 19.1 is entering extended support.

As stated in the Extended Support article, the extended support period lasts 90 days. Once 19.1 enters extended support, if a production issue arises Pega researches the issue and determines whether any updates will be made.

After the 90-day period is up, Pega will no longer provide support for 19.1.

We have included features built into version 22.1 to help you upgrade from 19.1. If you are using still 19.1, now would be a very good time to start that process. Version 22.1 was redesigned to streamline the automation creation process, add important new features, and remove the need for Visual Studio.

Contact Pega Support for more information.

@MichaelNorton

Thank you for your reply.

By the way, I think 24.1 will be released before 19.1 enters the extended support period, but when will 24.1 be released?

@ReiA7543

I do not have a specific date for the next full product release, but yes, 19.1 will enter the extended support period after the next full product release.
