No application settings landing page in app studio

I have started defining application settings and I want them to be available in app studio. According to this documentation: https://docs-previous.pega.com/data-management-and-integration/87/viewing-application-settings, there is nothing beyond defining the application setting rules.

I have defined the rule application setting, added a category, and filled out the history tab for each. The box that says to “hide the display in app studio” is unchecked. The rules are all in a ruleset within the application definition.

Hi @stevenh5 Was it enabled anytime before for you? and is it working for anyone else using same access group as you are?

in general, check if toggle is OFF (it should be off), please see the attachments for the steps. if it is not case, please check if it is working for any other access group.

Thanks
Mathan

Check if Toggle is off for application setting.pdf (136 KB)

@Mathan

Thanks so much. It was a toggle. I am curious why these steps are not available in the pega documentation I was looking at. But regardless, thank you for the help.

@stevenh5 many thanks for bringing up this subject.

We would encourage you to use the ‘Contact Us’ link on any article if you believe that the articles can be enhanced in any way,.

I have checked our Pega 8.8 documentation and there is no mention of the toggle setting there either. Perhaps you can use the ‘Feedback’ button on the top right to also provide the details which you believe to be missing there?

Thanks @MarijeSchillern. I submitted feedback on that article. This is a great feature to not only organize application settings in one place, but empower citizen developers or other power users. Unfortunate about the missing documentation.
