Hi Team,

Pages option is not visible in App studio for newly created Application..Is there any settings to be done for its Visibility or any rules to be created

Thanks

Please refer to this link:

  1. In the header of App Studio, click Preview application, and then enter the design mode by clicking Design.

  2. In the upper-left corner of the window, expand the Pages menu, and then click New.

  3. In the Create new page window, enter a unique page name, and then click Submit.

Have you managed to make it visible/available ?

I am having the same issue and it seems that there is other way to create and add a custom page from App studio.

@topra did you get any solution, it works with prpc admin but not our access group. or application. i checked roles and other things but i cant find any solution

@prawinLingam did you follow these steps Creating a page for an application?

The main documentation is listed here: Creating and managing pages for applications

@SurendharReddy

If the product is not behaving is documented I would suggest that you log a support ticket for this on the MSP. If you chose to go down this route, please provide the INC reference here so that we can help track it.

@topra were you able to find the solution to show Pages Option in App Studio

yes I found the reason behind it .. It is how the application is set.

There is a “UI Runtime” setting in the “Advanced” Section of the application definition

If it is set to “React Based UI” they you loose this capability and must do something else (I will discuss below).

The problem here is that If you ever selected React based UI, there is no going back even If you select “Server Rendered UI” back… you lost the Page creation capability for some reason … and It won’t come back even on different applications on the system… Once it is gone, it is gone …

The workaround or the may new the way that Pega pushes us to create landing pages and customizing these…

The landing pages have to a certain type when you create. What I found is that aster the creation of landing page, you can find the harness and inner sections, get rid of the ones comes with type selection and put you own ones…

I am not sure If thats the best practice or may create some handicaps on the system or in the future but thats the only way I found so far…
