Unable to see the Application menu in App Studio

Hi,

I am new to App Studio and I am trying to build an application using App Studio in Pega 8.6, but I don’t see the application menu besides my application name. it is only present in Dev studio. Is there anything I am missing? I have included the pxExpress portal in the access group.

Hi @ISHANI: Are you trying to create new application from app studio? If you want to build an application in App Studio, ensure that you have an access group based on SysAdm4 role or an pxCreateNewApplication privilege, and that the production level is equal or lower than 4.

@ArulDevan Hi,

I have SysAdm4 role and still not able to see the new application menu. There is no menu beside the Application name in the App Studio.

Hi Ishani,

It is a Product Bug or Feature :

If you See Section Name related to Application Name in App Studio is below Section and the property related to Displaying Application Name is just a Test Field → Where as in Version (8.7.0) it is upgraded to link property and displaying a menu option from the Layout Event
