In Blueprint, how do I create a multi-step form? It looks like I only have the option to create a single-step “Collection Information”.
Pega GenAI Athena seems to think it is possible, but doesn’t know where the option is:
"Athena
The multi-step form option in Blueprint might not be directly visible under 'Add Step'. Based on recent updates, features like the 'Preview my app' button have been moved to the Personas and Summary Steps sections. It is recommended to check these sections to see if the multi-step form option is now located there or if its naming has changed. You can also refer to the discussion on interface changes here: Preview my app button is not visible on Blueprint."
My understanding is Blueprint is a design and generation tool - you can’t preview or configure the actual multi-step form within Blueprint.
The workflow is:
In Blueprint: Define your case types, workflows, data objects, and personas - this generates the blueprint file
Import to Pega Platform: The blueprint file creates the application structure, including default multi-step forms
In Pega Platform (App Studio/Dev Studio): Configure, customize, and preview the multi-step form.
Blueprint automates the creation of the multi-step form structure, but all the actual configuration, customization, and preview happens in Pega Platform after import.
Multi-step, Processes with “back” enabled, Hierarchical form templates, Repeating Views, Search and Select patterns - all great User Experiences but these are all things you’d have to enhance or apply after you import your Blueprint (in Authoring).
