After applying hotfix HFIX‑D2232 on platform version 24.2.5, the Knowledge Buddy feature stopped functioning as expected due to a recurring error.
Observed Behavior - “Unable to retrieve data at the moment. Please try again.”

java.lang.IllegalStateException: Cannot parse JSON, invalid JSON provided
The issue was consistently observed immediately after the hotfix was applied.
Initial investigation confirmed the error was linked to the hotfix implementation.
In collaboration with the Pega team, the hotfix was rolled back.
Following the rollback, the Knowledge Buddy feature was restored to normal operation.
This note is being shared to inform community members about the observed impact of this hotfix.
