I need HFIX-B2891 for Pega Platform version 24.2.1, Pega provided me with wrong version in HF-C976. How can I open an incident to get the correct version.

In HF-C976, I requested the DL for HFIX-B2891 for Pega Platform version 24.2.1.

Pega provided in the above ticket DL-42460_HF-C976.zip. I attempted to install it using Hotfix Manager installer into our DT3-Clone environment which was upgraded to Pega Platform version 24.2.1; however, I get the below error in Hotfix Manager installer.

Error validating DL file: HFIX-B2891 in DL-42460_HF-C976.zip was built for PegaRULES Process Commander 8.24.50 and is not applicable for this system.

Please provide me with HFIX-B2891 for Pega Platform version 24.2.1.

@lisar179 I can see that HF-C976 was logged against 24.2, not 24.2.1.

HFIX-B2891 is for Pega Platform 24.2.0, not 24.2.1.

HFIX-B2901 is for Customer Decision Hub 24.2

You were informed on 10th March that the engineer logged INC-C10975 to deal with your custom question.

ISSUE-894535 and ISSUE-895715 for which the HFix was originally created appears to already be fixed in 24.2.1 without needing a patch.

Update

INC-C10975 logged for 24.2.1 has been resolved with the following explanation provided 11 March:

“I see that you are on version 24.2.1 and this patch has the fix which were provided under HFIX-B2901 for version 24.2.0, so you do not need to install it on 24.2.1. Please go ahead and install just HFIX-B2901 .”
