Is OpenJDK 1.8 from Adoptium(Temurin) supported on Pega 7.2?

Hi

My company is moving away from Oracle JDK and I’m required to uninstall any Oracle JDK on our servers, right now we have a Pega 7.2 based application running on Oracle 1.8 JDK and I would like to ask if I could replace Oracle 1.8 JDK by OpenJDK 1.8 Temurin JDK?

I checked the Platform Support Guide and the first version that supports OpenJDK 1.8 is Pega 7.3.1

That combination (7.2 with OpenJDK 1.8) might work, and it may be worth trying to see if you can use it to get away from proprietary java. But it’s not a supported config.
