How to View Insights Created from Explore Data in Dev Studio?

Hi Team,

I created an Insight from Explore Data and can see it there. However, I am unable to find it in Dev Studio. I checked the Rule-UI-Insight class, but I do not see the Insight I created.

Could anyone please let me know where Insights created from Explore Data are stored and how to view them in Dev Studio?

They are created as instances of Rule-UI-Insight class only. I am able to view the insight just created by me from Explore Data in the class instances list.

I’m able to see all the instances of Insights created (including OOTB). Please find teh below screenshot for your reference. The Insights which are configured as Public should be seen as well other than your own insights in the Explore Data.

You can not “view them” in dev studio - they can only be accessed via Explore Data either in Design Time (app studio landing page) or Run Tim (via Preview)

Hi All,

Thank you for your response. However, I am unable to see the Insight instances in my environment. I am using Pega Platform 25.1.2 Community Edition.

Do I need to make any additional configuration changes or grant any specific privileges/access to the operator to view these instances?

Hi Mamatha,

To view the Insight instances in your environment, you need to enable the “Enable Diagnostic Features” option in Preferences. Once this is enabled, you will be able to access and view the Insight instances under the Rule-UI-Insights class.
