EDIT: Updated to clarify - what I really want is for the user to NOT be taken to the case when they create it. This is for a Self-Service Portal in Constellation and seems like a very basic goal.

In Cosmos UI, it was straightforward to keep a user on a page and only display a toast notification when creating a case via modal window, rather than displaying the newly created case. See this for reference if I’ve failed to describe it appropriately:
My question is how do we accomplish the same in Constellation? Obviously, the Cosmos-UI settings on the case type do not apply here, so how do we in Constellation keep the user on their current page when they create a new case?
Thanks in advance!

OOTB displays the Toast Notification(Successfully submitted!) after completing each assignment in the Constellation application. Can you please clarify your requirements?
@RameshSangili Thank you - yes the toast notification displays, but my main goal is that the user is NOT taken to the Case Details view on case submit. The option mentioned above in the Cosmos UI did one or the other. In Constellation, it appears to do both (show the toast AND navigate the user to the newly created case). I don’t want the user navigated to the newly created case in Constellation.
Thank you!
@JonathanB9941 I can see that you logged support ticket INC-B44643 for this.
Please keep us posted here on progress.
@JonathanB9941 as discussed in your parallel post Constellation: Don’t show case details view upon case creation the functionality you are after is not possible in Constellation.
I can see in your closed support ticket that your requirement has been logged under new enhancement request FDBK-120268
If you would like this feedback to be prioritized, please reach to your Account Executive so that they can help you get this implemented into the Product.
As it’s likely there is no workaround available could I ask that you click ‘Accept Solution’ to the enhancement request reply posted here so that other users might find this post to help them design their requirements with the current limitations in mind?
@MarijeSchillern
Accepted - we will work with our Account Executive. It still confuses me why such a feature would be removed, especially with the new feature of an OOTB self-service portal, designed for users to submit cases. It should be a very common use case that a user would submit a case and the case would immediately be routed to another operator or workgroup. Hopefully this feature can be restored in the very near future or at least a workaround communicated.
