How to override child case locking behavior to Default locking, while parent case has optimistic locking?

Parent → Case A ( Optimistic Locking )
Child → Case B ( Inherited Optimistic from Parent A )

How to override child case’s behavior to Default?

Tried applying WorkLock activity at pyUpgradeOnOpen, pyUpgradeOnPerform. This caused problems in many other scenarios.

Tried setting pyCaseUpdateInfo.pyLockingmode in pyDefaults, and NewDefaults DT/Activity. Didn’t solve.

We can’t override the locking strategy in the child case, and it’s not recommended to have a different locking strategy for Parent and child cases.
