How to Open new Cases in Full-Screen Mode Instead of Popup in Pega 25.1.2 Constellation

Hi,

I am working on Pega 25.1.2. As per our requirement, the new case should open in a full-screen view instead of a popup. However, in Constellation, I am unable to find an option to achieve this. Could you please advise how we can configure a case to open in full-screen mode?

Add the empty stage before your Initial step

Ya, with this approch it will work but we dont want to add empty stage.

In Pega 25.1.2 Constellation, a new case opens in a popup when it starts directly on its first step with no stage before it. To make it open in full-screen mode instead, go to your case type in App Studio, open the case life cycle, and add an empty stage placed before the existing Initial stage. This extra stage makes Pega treat the case as a multi-stage case, so it automatically displays in full-screen view rather than a popup. Save the case type, then create a new case to confirm the change works.

Hi @suchitad Please let me know if you got other methods apart from making the empty stage.
