How to install Pega on macOS Big Sur

Hi,

I’ve downloaded latest Pega 8.5.1. Can someone please assist how to install Pega on Mac OS. I was also trying to install on Oracle VM Virtual Box, but there is no compatible exe or installation file like *.vmdk to install.

Please share any steps or suggest how to proceed. Appreciate any help and response.

Hi Pradeep,

As far as I understand that you have downloaded Pega Personal Edition 8.5.1. Please note that Pega Personal Edition doesn’t run on MacOS. You need to use Apple Boot Camp to install Windows and the boot into it. From there you can install Personal Edition or use any windows application to run VMs

Alternately please try to use VMWare Fusion from the below link:
