We need to use Pega OCR in Pega Cloud platform, do we have any document for Pega Cloud platform

Can’t find the OCR component on marketpalce anymore, is it removed?

I believe Pega may have retired the OCR component from the Marketplace, likely in favour of their newer GenAI-powered approach. The old component was built on ABBYY FineReader Engine and was only supported on on-premises deployments it was never available for Pega Cloud customers.( This is my understanding)
The replacement is Document processing with Pega GenAI (DocAI), available from Pega Platform 25.1 onwards. It covers similar use cases (PDFs, images, DOCX, printed or handwritten) and maps extracted data directly to case properties with no model training needed. If you are on an older version or on client-managed cloud on AWS, AWS Textract service is a good alternative worth considering.

Thanks @VinayKumarL16594575 . just wondering what are options for customers who are not yet using Pega’s GenAI or not on Pega Cloud
If you are on AWS, AWS Textract is a great option and I have personally implemented this . Google Cloud Vision and Azure Form Recognizer are also worth considering depending on your cloud provider.
For on-premise, I haven’t come across this use case so would be keen to hear if anyone else has!
