I am new to Pega Launchpad and need to set up an Email Channel to handle incoming and outgoing emails for our workflows. However, I couldn’t find an option to add Email Channels in Launchpad.
Could someone clarify:
Is it possible to create Email Channels in Pega Launchpad?
If it is, what are the steps to configure them?
Any guidance or documentation would be greatly appreciated.
@ShermalDeAlwis you can add Email Channels in Pega Launchpad to manage incoming and outgoing emails for your workflows. First, configure your email server by going to Records > Integration-Resources > Email Servers and entering your SMTP and IMAP/POP3 details. Next, set up inbound email processing by creating a Parser Inbox under Records > Integration-Resources > Parser Inboxes and linking it to your email server. Then, configure outbound emails by navigating to Records > Integration-Resources > Email Settings, setting default sender addresses, and creating email actions in your workflows to send emails. After that, go to App Studio > Channels, add a new Email Channel, and link it to your configured email server and Parser Inbox. Make sure to define any email templates you need for consistency. Finally, test your setup by sending and receiving test emails to ensure everything works correctly. Thanks
Thank you for your detailed response! However, I noticed that Pega Launchpad doesn’t seem to have a Records navigation or a category called Integration-Resources. Additionally, it doesn’t include App Studio. If there are any alternative methods to configure Email Channels in Pega Launchpad, I would greatly appreciate your guidance
