We will upgrade version 8.7 to 8.8.x and our application still using UI traditional UI.
We trying to discover the best approach to keep it or use a cosmos. Is that possible work with UIToolkit in 8.8.x or it’s deprecated?
All existed UI kit applications are supported even if you upgrade to the pega latest version.
For the new applications, you can start either with theme-cosmos or cosmos-react based on the requirements you had.
Yes UI Kit is supported till Infinity 24.x.
Hi @oortega88: To make this clear, I haven’t seen any info stating that Theme UI Kit will be stopped support. But please note that there wont be any major enhancements in Theme UI Kit (refer this). Please also see if there are any deprecation in UI Kit (like certain controls getting deprecated).
You may also refer this for some additional info regarding application UI setup.
For new applications, the recommendation is to use Constellation UI Architecture (or) Theme Cosmos. Please look into the limitations in Constellation UI Architecture too.
Existing applications can still continue in UI Kit but recommended to modernize to latest UI Architecture to better make use of the latest features.
