Customer Service for FS 24.2 not released

We noticed that Pega 24.2.0 was released and from my understanding all the strategic applications installed on it MUST have at least the same minor version, and this can be true for almost all the strategic app that we will install despite the Customer Service for Financial Services, which have no 24.2.0 version available yet.

How is it possible? From the patch release it seems that it will be delivered in December, and if this is the case, we will need to stick to the previous version 24.1.1.

Can you understand what is the recommended approach? Installing Pega 24.2 and use CSFS at version 24.1 or installing Pega 24.1 and keeping all the strategic app aligned to this version?

@AleMax225 thanks for reaching out. Pega Customer Service for Financial Services 24.2 is being released in December 2024, alongside 24.2 versions of Pega Collections, Pega Smart Dispute and Pega Smart Investigate for Payments.

As to your statement on being on the same minor release version (platform and application) is a requirement, I can confirm that is correct. In your case, it seems prudent to stay on 24.1.x while you wait for the next release! Thanks!
